Heads Up, These Star Wars Games Will Be On Sale for ‘May the Fourth’ Celebrations
We’re not far away from Star Wars Day, young padawans. Most people know about the extremely dad-level joke already, ‘May the Fourth be with you’ — but it’s a good day to be a Star Wars fan. Not only is it a celebration of the beloved franchise, but it’s also a great time to pick up a deal.
We’ll have a full round-up on the day, but in anticipation, it has already been confirmed that several games that will be on sale for a couple of weeks, covering you for ‘May the Fourth’, and the week beyond that as well (April 29 – May 10).
Currently, confirmed games in the sale include Star Wars Battlefront 2, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, Star Wars Squadrons, and even the Star Wars Triple pack (including all three of the aforementioned games) which will be 70% off on all platforms. There’s also Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars: Republic Commando, skins in Minecraft and Sims 4, and a lot more to look forward to.
You might even be able to check a few deals out already, with games included in sales on Xbox from April 28 to May 5, and up to 70% off on Star Wars games during the ‘Games Under 20’ sale on PlayStation running until May 11.
We’re expecting even more than just games to be on sale as well, with the likes of 4K Blu-rays, LEGO sets, books, games, and toys all seeing discounts in the May the Fourth sales last year.
What isn’t yet confirmed in the sale is whether we’ll see a discount on LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The game has already done tremendously well, selling 3.2 million copies in its first two weeks, but I wouldn’t put it beyond the possibility of a sale during ‘May the Fourth’.
