Avowed is Not Skyrim, And Here’s Why

Obsidian Entertainment, the developer behind Fallout: New Vegas and The Outer Worlds, has addressed comparisons between its upcoming RPG Avowed and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The studio shared details about Avowed’s gameplay, setting, and features during the recent Xbox Games Showcase 2024. Set in the same world as Obsidian’s Pillars of Eternity, players will explore the Living Lands, investigating a magical plague called the Dreamscourge.
