Deal Alert: Sony’s Best 2021 75″ 4K LED Gaming TV Is $700 Off

This Walmart Black Friday deal is back. Today Walmart has the 75″ Sony Bravia XR X95J 4K Google TV, normally $3000, for a shockingly low price of $1298. That’s how much we saw it for on Black Friday, but it sold out promptly after being live for less than a day.

75″ Sony Bravia XR X95J 4K Google TV for $1298

Sony’s highest end LED LCD TV of 2021

Yes, the Sony X95J is a 2021 model, but it was Sony’s best LCD TV in 2021. If you wanted to stick with Sony, the only better route would have been to spend $3K or more on an equivalently sized Sony OLED TV. The X95J has a lot of premium features that allow it to excel at HDR content. The X95J has full-array LED backlighting with local dimming. The local dimming on the X95J is exceptionally good; so good in fact that it’s better than many high end QLED and Mini-LED panels from rival brands. The X95J also features XR Triluminos Pro (wide color gamut) and Dolby Vision support.

The X95J makes an excellent gaming TV. It boasts a true 120Hz panel with HDMI 2.1 inputs for 4K @ 120Hz support for the PS5 and Xbox Series X gaming consoles, as well as variable refresh rate (VRR) and auto low latency mode (ALLM).

The Sony A80J is also new enough to adopt Google TV for its smart TV experience. Google TV is a definitely upgrade to the aging Android TV interface and works just as well as Fire TV or Apple TV, even more so if you use an Android phone or tablet.

There is a new 200 model out, the 75″ Sony Bravia XR X95K 4K TV. Right now, it costs a whopping $3000 on Amazon ($3800 MSRP). That’s well more than double the price of the X95J. Is it worth the price difference? Most definitely not.
