The Wrong Earth: We Could Be Heroes Continues the Wacky Superhero Epic

Ahoy Comics is celebrating its fifth anniversary, and that can only mean a new installment of the wacky superhero series The Wrong Earth. That franchise will return in the form of a new two-issue series dubbed The Wrong Earth: We Could Be Heroes.

IGN can exclusively debut a new preview of The Wrong Earth: We Could Be Heroes #1 ahead of the book’s October 25 release. Get a closer look in the slideshow gallery below:

The new series is again written by Tom Peyer and drawn by Jamal Igle. It builds on the recent multiverse shenanigans from recent The Wrong Earth comics, as Dragonfly, Dragonflyman and the rest are isolated from Earth-Prime and the world’s governments have been overrun by villains. In the absence of our heroes, a new team of crimefighters will have to answer the call.

AHOY’s first hit series returns with a two-issue anniversary celebration from creators Tom Peyer and Jamal Igle (Dudley Datson)! With Dragonflyman, Dragonfly, and the rest of the masked crime-fighters trapped elsewhere in the multiverse, Earth-Alpha’s police, government, and banks are taken over by dastardly villains! New heroes emerge—but can they prevail? Also featuring a new chapter of the AHOY 5th anniversary prose serial by Mark Russell (SECOND COMING)!
