In terms of actual build, this controller is identical to the stock wireless controller that comes with your Xbox Series X|S console. It features all the standard creature comforts like impulse analog triggers, clicky d-pad, textured grips, and so forth. Razer also includes a matching themed quick-charge charging stand that connects to your controller magnetically. It works great and you don’t have to fuss around trying to manually plug into a little port every time you want to charge.

Of course, the main reason you’d be picking up one of these controllers is the aesthetics. The Stormtrooper controller is officially licensed by Xbox, Disney, and Lucasfilm Ltd. Razer did a great job making the controller design look very much like the iconic helmet. If you’re a fan of Star Wars, there is no other Xbox controller on the market that can scratch your collector’s itch like this one. The $199.99 is, in my opinion, way too steep an entry price, but a 55% discount is much more reasonable.
