LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon 75192
For those of you playing catch up, the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) Millennium Falcon was unveiled during Force Friday 2017. With 7,541 bricks, it boasts 2,346 more pieces than the previous UCS Millennium Falcon which was released back in 2007. This behemoth measures 8″ high, 33″ long, and 22″ wide and weighs 29 pounds. The Millennium Falcon, which weighs twice as much as the LEGO Death Star that appeared in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.
There have been a few other Star Wars sets released then that rival the Millennium Falcon in grandeur: the 4,784-piece Imperial Star Destroyer 75252,the 6,785-piece AT-AT 75313, and most recently the 6,187-piece Razor Crest 75331. However, none of them have quite topped the Millennium Falcon’s still ongoing reign as the largest LEGO Star Wars set of all time.
Although this is easily LEGO’s most expensive consumer set ever, it’s a reasonable value compared to other LEGO Star Wars UCS sets. At this current price, you’re paying almost exactly 9 cents per brick, which is not bad considering this is a Star Wras themed, pre-designed LEGO building kit. Of course not all bricks are the same, and a set could have a ton of pieces that are 1×1 in size. There are also a few bricks that are worth far more than your average brick because of its rarity, like the coveted Millennium Falcon’s printed satellite dish.
The LEGO UCS Star Wars sets have among the best resale value across all LEGO franchise. Once LEGO discontinues a Ultimate Collector Series set, the price on eBay skyrockets. The Millennium Falcon isn’t discontinued, nor are there any imminent signs that it will happen in the near future, but all Star Wars sets are retired eventually.
