The Simpsons Is Getting a New Star Wars Short, Rogue Not Quite One, for May the Fourth
Disney+ has announced Maggie Simpson in Rogue Not Quite One, a Simpsons and Star Wars crossover short that will arrive just in time for Star Wars Day on May 4.
We don’t know much about the short as of yet, but the title is obviously a play on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Furthermore, Maggie looks to be in a pram of sorts that looks very much like the one Grogu has in The Mandalorian.
It also isn’t clear what kind of trouble Maggie got herself into, but the Empire is clearly not happy as a ton of TIE Fighters are after her alongside one that could even be Darth Vader’s TIE Advanced X1.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen these two universes collide, as Disney’s Investor Day 2020 saw Homer and Grogu together, 2021 saw The Force Awakens From Its Nap, and there were a few Star Wars references in The Simpsons in Plusaversary.
Star Wars Day is shaping up to be a special one for fans of that galaxy far, far away, as it will also see the arrival of Star Wars: Visions’ second season, Star Wars vehicles in Rocket League, a Star Wars and Fortnite crossover featuring Anakin, Padme, and Darth Maul, and much more.
Fans can also watch all of Season 3 of The Mandalorian. In our review, we said, “The Mandalorian season 3 continues to deliver plenty of great action but spent too much time tying into other shows and juggling between competing protagonists as the focus shifted from Din Djarin to Bo-Katan.”
