Venture Bros. Movie Gets First Look in New Clip

Adult Swim has released the first clip for The Venture Bros. movie. Titled The Venture Bros.: Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart, the film picks up after the events of Venture Bros.’ Season 7 finale. The official description from Adult Swim follows:

“In The Venture Bros.: Radiant is the Blood of the Baboon Heart a nationwide manhunt for Hank Venture leads to untold dangers and unexpected revelations, while The Monarch is literally out for Dr Venture’s blood. An imposing evil from the past reemerges to wreak havoc on the Ventures, The Guild, and even the Monarch marriage—it will take friends and foes alike to restore the Ventures’ world to order… or end it once and for all.”

The clip shows Patrick Warburton’s Brock with a lead on where Chris McCulloch’s Hank is, and he leads a team to track him down. Meanwhile, James Urbaniak’s Dr. Venture and Michael Sinterniklaas’ Dean look on from the control room. You can take a loot at some screenshots from the clip in the gallery below.

The Venture Bros. movie is based on Adult Swim’s long-running animated series of the same name. Series creators Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick (McCulloch’s pseudonym) are on board to write and executive produce the movie, with Publick also directing.

The film also stars Nina Arianda, Clancy Brown, John Hodgeman, Hal Lublin, Jane Lynch, Charles Parnell, Jay Pharoah, Steven Rattazzi, JK Simmons, and Dana Snyder.

The Venture Bros. premiered in 2004, and aired seven seasons on-and-off over the course of 14 years. Several specials aired in years between seasons. The comedy follows the Venture family and their nemesis, The Monarch.

We first heard about The Venture Bros. movie in 2021, when Adult Swim announced three new original movies based on Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Metalocalypse, and The Venture Bros. The movie is serving as Hammer and Publick’s way to continue The Venture Bros. story after the show was canceled in 2020.
