The Penguin: First Look at Max’s DC Series Teases ‘the New Kingpin of Gotham’
Max’s The Penguin series, starring Colin Farrell reprising his role from Matt Reeves’ The Batman movie, has gotten a first look as it continues production.
It was shown during Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming event today, where the combined HBO Max/Discovery streaming platform was officially rebranded as Max.
The series, which is being produced by Reeves, shows a cutthroat Oswald Cobblepot, having him threatening, “you step outta line, even once, I’ll gut you like a goddman fish.”
An official release date has not yet been announced, but it’s coming sometime in 2024. Watch the teaser below.
