John Wick: Chapter 4 Is Up for Preorder – Here’s What Comes in Each Edition

It’s currently doing good business in theaters, but you can already preorder John Wick: Chapter 4 for your home-viewing pleasure. And you might want to, because the movie is great according to just about everyone, including our 10/10 John Wick: Chapter 4 review. Neither the digital nor physical versions have a release date yet, but you can lock in your copy on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD or digital to get it as soon as it’s out. The balletic shoot-‘em-up film is also getting a handful of retailer-exclusive collector’s editions, so read on to find out what comes in each one.
John Wick: Chapter 4 – Standard Edition (4K UHD)
If you want a standard-edition physical copy of the movie, you can pick it up at Amazon and other retailers for as little as $24.96.
However, as with many popular physical movie releases these days, you can get extra goodies depending on where you buy it. Here’s a rundown of what comes in each special edition from the various retailers.
Amazon-Exclusive John Wick: Chapter 4 Collector’s Edition (4K UHD)
This version comes with a very cool and unique cover and includes three discs: the movie on 4K UHD, the movie on Blu-ray, and a third disc containing the Amazon-exclusive content “World of Wick.” This last item is a 20 minute behind-the-scenes look at the creative process behind the four Wick films released so far. It has interviews with director Chat Stahelski, as well members of the cast and crew of the movies.
Best Buy-Exclusive John Wick: Chapter 4 Collector’s Edition (4K UHD)
Best Buy’s exclusive edition comes in this flashy steelbook case. One thing’s for sure: the case is red.
Walmart-Exclusive John Wick: Chapter 4 Collector’s Edition (Blu-ray)
The Walmart-exclusive edition is pretty rad, but unfortunately it’s not the 4K UHD version. It’s the Blu-ray instead. But if you can live with that, you’ll get the movie in a cool-looking steelbook case, and it comes with 12 painted character cards that look downright gorgeous.
Target-Exclusive John Wick: Chapter 4 Collector’s Edition (Blu-ray)
Another Blu-ray (read as not-4K UHD) special edition is available at Target. This one has a stylish cover featuring the dog, so it just might be the best of the bunch.

If you don’t need move physical discs cluttering up your entertainment area, you can also preorder the film in digital form. Digital copies generally come out a week or so before the physical versions, so that’s also nice.
