Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 3’s First Episode Isn’t on Crunchyroll Yet and Fans Are Concerned
Today’s a pretty big day for Attack on Titan fans, but those outside of Japan are being kept waiting just a little bit longer.
As of 12:30pm PT today, the premiere of the subbed version Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 is still not on Crunchyroll or Hulu, leaving eager North American fans desperate to find out when they’ll be able to watch the return of one of the biggest current anime. The hour-long special aired on Japanese network NHK at 12:25am, but currently isn’t available to view on any official streaming platform on the West.
IGN has reached out to Crunchyroll for a comment or update on when the episode will be available. In the meantime, Attack on Titan viewers have been hungry for answers, to say the least.

Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 3 will be split into two halves, and it was announced earlier today that the second half will premiere this fall, although a specific release date was not given.
While it’s not been entirely clear throughout The Final Season when the actual series finale would come, after Part 3, there will be no more manga to adapt, so it’s fairly safe to say it will truly be the end.
Part 2 of The Final Season wrapped up last April, and IGN gave that batch of episodes a 9/10, writing that it “reaches its darkest chapter yet, with bleak, horrifying imagery, devastating emotional revelations that recontextualize the entire story so far, some of the best action scenes in the entire show, and one of the best character arcs in all of anime.”
